Tickets On Sale For Men’s Hoops Exhibition Versus Georgia Tech At UMBC

COLLEGE PARK, MD – For fans wanting to get their first look at the 2026-27 Maryland men's basketball team, tickets for the Terps' exhibition game against Georgia Tech at UMBC's Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena are now on sale. The game is set for a 4:30 PM tip-off as part of a doubleheader with UMBC and LIU set for an exhibition game at 2 PM on Sunday, October 11.
The first home exhibition game of the year at XFINITY Center will be the following Sunday, October 18 against West Virginia.
The Terps will officially open the 2026-27 schedule at home against Bucknell on Monday, November 2.
Tip times and television assignments as well as the dates for Maryland's Big Ten schedule will be announced in the near future. All games will be broadcast on the Maryland Sports Radio Network with legendary Voice of the Terps Johnny Holliday, Chris Knoche, and Walt Williams calling the action.
Throughout the 2026-27 season, Maryland will have a year-long celebration of the 25th anniversary of the program's 2002 NCAA National Championship, presented by Northrop Realty. Home games throughout the 2026-27 season will feature special promotions, giveaways, player appearances and autograph sessions, and more that will celebrate this truly historic milestone in Maryland Athletics history.
