As a Freshman (2013-2014): Served a redshirt year and wrestled in open competiton at 141 and 149 pounds ...  racked up 21 wins ... notched five pins and three major decisions over the course of the season ... won the 141-pound title at the Wilkes Open ... finished second at the Messiah Open. 

Before Maryland: A NHSCA All-American and USAW Junior All-American … the 2012 Maryland Independent School (MIS) champion at 132 pounds and four-time finalist … a four-time Interstate Athletic Conference (IAC) champion … a three-time National Prep medalist … Beast of the East placewinner.
