As a Junior (2012-13): Finished 10-11 wrestling mostly in open competition at 197 pounds ... finished with a 4-1 dual mark ... placed sixth at the Brockport/Oklahoma Gold Classic ... picked up three victories at the Nittany Lion Open ... earned a 15-0 tech fall over NC State's Bill Cook in his lone ACC dual of the season.
As a Sophomore (2011-12): Served as the starter at 184 pounds...compiled a record of 14-15...4-0 in matches decided by major decision...finished seventh at the Nittany Lion Open (12/4)...opened the season with a technical fall over Johns Hopkins' Ben Finelli (11/6)...recorded his first career ACC win over John Dickson of Virginia Tech (1/8).
As a Redshirt Freshman (2010-11): Went 14-6 at 184 pounds...claimed individual title at the Wilkes Open after topping Clarion's Steve Cressley 12-4 in the finals...won an individual title at the Messiah Open by pinning Ohio Valley's Chase Long in just 47 seconds.
As a Freshman (2009-10): Served a redshirt season ... went 7-12 in open competition.
Before Maryland: 2009 state champion...two-time state finalist...four-time state placer.
Personal: Son of Matthew and Karen Snook...has one brother, Josh, and one sister, Kassi...favorite athlete is Kerry McCoy...3.3 high school GPA...also recruited by Rutgers and George Mason.
