BEFORE MARYLAND - Earned Player of the Year honors from Frederick News-Post after helping Titans to Monocacy Valley Athletic League title in 2009... Led MVAL in 3-pointers made for team that went 22-5... Also earned honorable mention All-Met and first team All-Gazette honors... Led team in 3-point percentage, steals and rebounds for coach Dan Wagner... Played in 2007 and 2008 for Towson Catholic HS, where his teams were a combined 59-12 and won two MIAA titles for coach Josh Pratt.
PERSONAL - Born in Rockville, Md.... Son of Charles and Jeanice Thomas... Dean's List student at Maryland, where he is majoring in mechanical engineering with a math minor...
