Chose Maryland over Virginia, Clemson and Miami among others... Transferred to Miller School in Crozet, Va., after attending Southside (N.C.) High and Terra Ceia Christian School... Averaged 21 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists as a senior, playing for Scott Willard... Scored 33 points in a tournament game played in his hometown... Former AAU coach Tony Squire told the Baltimore Sun, "he reminds me of a similar version of Ray Allen at this stage in the game."... Squire also coached Terrapin alumnus Bambale Osby.
