As a Redshirt Junior (2008-09): Swam four personal-best times, three at the ACC Championships in the 100 free (50.15), 200 free (1:48.17) and 200 IM (2:03.77) and in the 50 free (24.10) in a dual meet against Georgetown (2/7/09)...individually, finished 12th in the 200 free (1:48.17) and 13th in the 100 free (50.29) at the ACC Championships...also helped 400 free relay (1:39.29) to a fourth-place finish and 800 free relay squad to a fifth-place finish (7:14.56).
Before Maryland: Swam for Rutgers University for two years ... went to the NCAA Championships to compete in five events ... was the Big East Champion in the 200, 400, and 800 freestyle relays ... was a Big East record holder in the 2005 and 2006 seasons.
Personal: Daughter of Richard and Khris ... has one brother, Dustin ... father played football at Rutgers University ... hobbies include Ben Stiller movies, painting nails, eating cake batter ice cream and Dove's dark chocolate ... received the Falcon of the Year award of high school academics, spirit, and personal achievement ... lists favorite athletes as Ryan Cochte and Ed Moses ... names being apart of the record breaking 800 freestyle relay at Big East Championships as biggest athletic thrill ... was also recruited by University of Washington Madison, the University of Washington Seattle, and the University of Utah ... admires Tyra Banks because she is fabulous.
