Biography

As a Senior (2006-07): Swam for the first-place 200-yard medley relay team (1:48.53) and placed second in the 100 butterfly (58.10) in the home opener against Johns Hopkins ... placed sixth in the 100 fly (58.53) and swam the third leg for the first-place 200 medley relay team (1:46.99) against Duke and NC State ... consolation finalist in the 100 fly, finishing 12th overall with a season-best time (57.08) at the Terrapin Cup ... also at Terp Cup, swam a season best of 1:01.68 in the 100 backstroke, a season best of 2:14.22 in the 200 fly, and was a member of the fourth-place 200 medley relay team (1:46.42) and 12th-place 400 medley relay team (3:55.38) ... member of the first-place 200 fly relay team (1:47.00) and the first-place 200 back relay team (1:51.50) at the FIU Invitational ... part of the first-place 200 medley relay team (1:45.72) against Pittsburgh, Villanova, and Richmond ... finished sixth in the 100 fly (58.74) at North Carolina ... part of the second-place 200 medley relay team (1:44.74) at Virginia ... at the ACC Championships, swam a season-best time of 25.88 in the 50 free and swam a 58.46 in the 100 fly ... also helped the 200 medley relay team to a sixth-place finish with a season-best time of 1:43.67.

As a Junior (2005-06): Made her first appearance of the season at the Terrapin Cup Invitational, where she finished 41st overall in the 50-yard freestyle with a career-best time of 25.54 ... also swam a 58.01 in the prelims of the 100-yard butterfly, good for the third overall position going into the finals ... finished second in the 100 fly against Pittsburgh and Villanova (56.16) ... was part of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished first against Pittsburgh and Villanova (1:44.35) as well as the 400-medley relay team (3:50.63) finishing first ... won the 100 fly against NC State (56.83) and was part of the 200 medley relay team that finished first (1:45.84) ... finished third in the 100 fly against North Carolina (57.12) and was part of the 200 medley relay team that finished first for the third consecutive meet (1:44.38) ... part of the 400 medley relay team that took first against Virginia (3:46.64) ... was part of the 200 medley relay team that took third at the ACC Championships with an NCAA B-cut time (1:42.04) and the 400 medley relay team that finished fourth (3:45.21) ... finished sixth overall in the 100 fly at the ACC Championships (55.46).

As a Sophomore (2004-05): Honorable Mention All-American in the 100 fly and 200 medley relay ... All-ACC in the 100 butterfly, 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay ... won her second straight ACC title in the 100-yard butterfly, breaking the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center's pool record in a time of 53.77 and automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championship ... was the first swimmer under former head coach Jim Wenhold to win a conference title as a freshman and sophomore ... was the only ACC swimmer to compete in the 100 butterfly at the NCAA Championships ... captured 15th place in the 100 fly (54.89), 10th in the 200 medley relay and 17th in the 400 medley relay at the NCAA Championships ... was a member of the 200 medley and 400 medley relay teams, both breaking the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center's pool records and the Maryland school records at the ACC Championships with times of 1:40.98 and 3:40.13 respectively ... finished ninth in the 200 fly at the ACC Championships with a career best time of 2:03.53 ... started the regular season with a victory in the 100 fly (56.70) against Johns Hopkins and Howard ... was a member of the winning 200 and 400 medley relays at the Terrapin Cup Invitational and finished third in the 100 fly (55.68) and 10th in the 200 fly (2:10.05) ... was part of the winning 200 medley relay (1:43.33) finished second in the 100 fly against North Carolina with a time of 55.86...finished fourth in 100 fly (57.61) and 200 free relay (1:36.22) against Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech and Florida State ... also won both the 200 and 400 medley relays with respective times of 1:44.23 and 3:48.15 ... was part of the winning 200 and 400 medley relays and finished second in the 100 fly (55.86) vs. NC State, Pittsburgh and Villanova ... captured first place in the 100 fly (56.59) and 200 medley relay (1:45.37) against conference rival Duke ... finished the dual meet season with a second place finish in the 200 fly (2:05.18) against Virginia helping the Terps to their second undefeated regular season.

As a Freshman (2003-04): Won the ACC title in the 100-yard butterfly, breaking the school record and automatically qualifying for the NCAA Championships with a time of 53.66 ... was the first freshman under former head coach Jim Wenhold to win a conference championship ... was part of the 200-yard medley relay team that broke the school record (1:41.41) while placing third...also finished 19th in the 200 fly (2:09.79) and 34th in the 50 free (24.78) at ACC's, and was part of the 400-yard medley relay team that finished third with a time of 3:42.96 ... was an Honorable Mention All-American in the 200 and 400-meter medley relays...200-meter medley relay team placed 13th at the NCAA Championships (1:53.35), while the 400-meter medley relay team placed 14th (4:08.15) ... finished 36th in the 100-meter butterfly at the NCAA's (1:01.68) ... qualified for the Olympic Trials in the 100-meter butterfly at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational the day after the NCAA Championships with her time of 1:02.31 ... finished 44th in the 100-meter butterfly at the Trials with a time of 1:02.92 ... had the ACC's fastest time of the season in the 100 fly (53.66) ... finished sixth in the 200 fly (2:09.66) and was part of the 400 medley relay team that finished third (3:57.94) at NC State in the first meet of her collegiate career ... placed seventh in the 200 fly (2:10.03) and was part of the 400 medley relay team that placed fourth (3:55.50) against Virginia Tech and Clemson ... won the first event of her career in the 100 fly against Johns Hopkins and Howard (56.73) ... also was part of the 200 medley relay team that placed second (1:48.80) ... took fifth in the 200 fly (2:12.78) and finished second in the 400 medley relay (3:57.94) against Duke ... was part of the winning 400 medley relay team (3:49.45) and placed sixth in the 200 fly (2:12.25) against Georgia Tech ... won the 100 fly (54.12) and the 200 medley relay (1:42.88) at the Terrapin Cup Invitational...also took third in the 200 fly with a career-best time of 2:04.60, placed second in the 400 medley relay (3:50.65) and finished 45th in the 50 free (25.27) ... finished second in the 100 fly (56.34) and eighth in the 200 fly (2:10.10) against Pittsburgh and Villanova ... also won both the 200 and 400 medley relays with respective times of 1:44.11 and 3:50.05 ... won the 100 fly (55.12) and the 200 medley relay (1:41.84) against North Carolina...finished sixth in the 200 fly (2:06.04) and was part of the winning 400 medley relay team (3:41.63) against Virginia.
