BEFORE MARYLAND: 67 wins and 18 pins rank top-eight in CBU history...45 wins, 14 pins in DI Career...2x NCO All-American, 2019 champ...First D1 ranked wrestler in CBU history...Redshirted his true freshman season at West Virginia... As an unattached wrestler, he had wins over wrestlers from Ohio State, Michigan State, Clarion, University of Virginia and Notre Dame Dame, along with a win against a USCAA national champion from Penn State-DuBois.

HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Army and Navy Academy High, which is located in Carlsbad, Calif., in 2016... Was a two-time captain and three-time team MVP... Received the Martin Athletic Excellence Award, which was given to the best athlete in the school each year... Won two CIF championships at 195 and 220 pounds... Placed sixth at 220 pounds at California State Meet... Took second at Freakshow (220 Elite).

PERSONAL: Born in Torrance and raised in Manhattan Beach, Calif... Son of David and Kristina... Has two siblings, Nick and Noelle... Marketing major, with a journalism minor... Enjoys cooking, swimming, biking and ping pong.
