As an unattached wrestler, he had wins over wrestlers from Ohio State, Michigan State, Clarion, University of Virginia and Notre Dame Dame, along with a win against a USCAA national champion from Penn State-DuBois.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Army and Navy Academy High, which is located in Carlsbad, Calif., in 2016... Was a two-time captain and three-time team MVP... Received the Martin Athletic Excellence Award, which was given to the best athlete in the school each year... Won two CIF championships at 195 and 220 pounds...
