Men's Tennis Downed By NC State, 7-0

Raleigh, N.C. - The Maryland men's tennis team fell to the NC State Wolfpack, 7-0, on Monday afternoon at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center, in Raleigh, N.C. With the loss the Terps fell to 8-6 on the season and 0-5 in ACC conference play.
In singles play, Troy Demers who played out of the No.1 position won the first set of his match against Conor Taylor, 6-2. Taylor battled back to take the second set, 6-4, and the tiebreak, 10-4. Ian Bliss fell to Nick Cavaday, 6-4, 6-1. Will Shaw topped Ben Graham, 6-3, 6-0. In the No.4 position Andre Iriate defeated Scott Fink, 6-0, 6-1. David Reichsfeld fell to Val Banada, 6-4, 6-0. Josh Brauser battled Andrew Noblitt to three sets. Noblitt was victorious winning, 6-1, 6-7, 10-4.
The Terps struggled in doubles play falling in all three doubles matches. Maryland will be back in action on Wednesday afternoon, as they take on the Florida State Seminoles in Tallahassee, Fla.
