As a Sophomore (2017): Appeared 12 times with four starts...tossed 21.2 innings pitched...went 0-2 with a 12.05 ERA and 24 strikeouts.

Before Maryland: Played for Parkside High School…selected in the 40th round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians…struck out 67 in 40 IP his senior season, including a no hitter, en route to being named Bayside South Pitcher of the Year…earned All-State honors…threw a no hitter during his junior campaign…played travel ball for EvoShield Canes and won the WWBA 17u National Championship and the 18U World Championship…team was ranked No. 1 in the country.
Personal: Son of Wayne and Cathy Parsons…has one sibling, Sierra…lists Tom Brady as his sports hero...was a member of the National Honors Society in high school.
