As a Sophomore (2015): Did not see game action ... named offensive scout team player of the week for preparation for Penn State (10/24).

As a Redshirt Freshman (2014): An All-Big Ten Academic selection … did not see game action during the season … earned special teams scout team player of the week for his preparation for Iowa (10/18) and Michigan State (11/15).

As a Freshman (2013): Served a redshirt season ... named scout team special teams player of the week for his efforts in preparation for Old Dominion (9/7).

At St John’s High School: A multi-talented athlete who played four sports … ran the 100m and 200m in track … played goalkeeper on the indoor soccer team … lined up at center for the basketball team.

Personal: Son of Cesar and Lynn Roca … lists his sports hero as Calvin Johnson.
