At Massaponax High School: Three-time all-conference and all-area linebacker…Max Preps First-Team All-State as junior and senior…named conference’s defensive player of the year in 2014…twice named team captain…amassed 147 tackles (81 solo), 20 tackles for loss, five sacks and one fumble recovery as a senior…also tallied 13 receptions for 240 yards (18.5 avg.) and one touchdown in the 2014 season…ranked as a three-star recruit by Scout, 247, ESPN and Rivals…named the second-best inside linebacker in Virginia by Scout...ranked as the 26th best inside linebacker in the country by ESPN…coached by Eric Ludden.
