  • 2x Academic All-Big Ten (2014, 2016)

As a Junior (2016): Appeared in four games as a reserve center.

As a Sophomore (2015): Did not see game action ... named offensive scout team player of the week for preparation for #22 Michigan (10/3).

As a Redshirt Freshman (2014): An All-Big Ten Academic selection … played in the season opener against James Madison (8/30) … made his collegiate debut against the Dukes.

As a Freshman (2013): Served a redshirt season ... named scout team special teams player of the week for his efforts in preparation for Florida State (10/5).

At Adlai E. Stevenson High School: Played offensive line and long snapper for the Patriots …  2013 All-Area Daily Herald selection … 2013 and 2012 Academic All-Conference.

Personal: Son of John and Julie Marchese … father played football at Iowa ... majoring in engineering: materials science.
