Maryland caps off preparation for Florida State with Thursday's workout
A tall, versatile player who could compete for time as an outside linebacker ... moved from defensive back in the offseason.
As a Freshman (2011): Served a redshirt season as a reserve defensive back ... earned special teams scout team player of the week leading up to the Florida State game (10/22).
At Naples High School: A defensive back who collected 59 tackles, two interceptions and one forced fumble during his senior year ... helped lead team to an undefeated record in the regular season before losing in the second round of the playoffs ... ranked as the No. 72 safety by ESPN ... registered 43 tackles, one interception, one pass breakup, two fumble recoveries and one blocked kick as a junior ... played basketball and ran track ... also considered West Virginia and Kansas ... coached by Bill Kramer.
