A physical third-year player who provides depth on the interior of the defensive line.

As a Sophomore (2012): Member of the travel roster for all away games … served as a reserve defensive lineman.

As a Redshirt Freshman (2011): Played in one game as a reserve defensive lineman … saw his first-career action vs. Towson (10/1) … did not record any statistics.

As a Freshman (2010): Redshirted.

At Langley High School: A 2007 all-region selection … all-state choice in 2008 … a 2007 All-Liberty District defensive tackle … also threw discus for the track team … went to the 2008 state discus finals … coached by John Hoverton.

Personal: Born in Reston, Va. … parents are Carol and Rick ‘Doc’ Walker … has two brothers, Austin and Aaron  …  father is currently a sports-talk radio host for ESPN 980 in Washington, D.C. … favorite sports hero is Warren Sapp … chose Maryland for educational opportunities and football program … career plans include getting a job with the government … a family science major.
