Rhodes is one of the best defensive player ever at Maryland, still holding the ACC mark for steals in a career with 344 as of 2020...The shooting guard from Washington, D.C., also finished first on the school’s 3-pointers list (186), sixth in points (1,743) and sixth in assists (437)...In each of his four seasons (1992-96), Rhodes led the team in steals and tallied at least 90 assists, all while averaging 14.3 points per game...He was a three-time All-ACC selection and helped Maryland make three NCAA Tournament appearances, including two trips to the Sweet 16...As a junior, Rhodes helped lead the Terps to a Top-10 final Associated Press Poll ranking, their first since 1980...He led Maryland back to the NCAA Tournament again as a senior, leaving a foundation of success that future teams built upon as the Terps reached the NCAAs 11 straight years from 1994 to 2004.
