AS A JUNIOR (2015-16 at Duquesne): Was one of three players to play in all 34 games...Third on DU's 17-17 CBI qualifier with a 10.1 ppg. scoring average and 53 3-pointers in 30 minutes per game...Led the team in rebounding at 6.5/g...Second with 21 blocks...Scored in double digits 14 times...Led or tied for the team lead in rebounding a team-high 10 times...Had the first three double-doubles of his career: 22-10 vs UMBC, 12-12 vs. St. Bonaventure and 14-14 at Saint Joseph's; the 14 boards at SJU set a new career high...Went 6-of-7 from the arc vs. UMBC...Scored a game-high 18 points at VCU and followed that with 18 more at George Mason in DU's two-game Virginia road trip...Hit five 3-pointers in scoring 17 first-half points at Mason...Had 16 points (four 3-pointers) and 7 rebounds in 28 minutes vs. Davidson on Feb. 6...Posted his second 20-point game of the season with 20 (and 8 rebounds) vs. UMass...Tied his career high with 5 assists vs. Mississippi Valley State...Increased his rebound average from 4.1 as a sophomore to 6.5 as a junior.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15 Season at Duquesne): One of five to see action in all 31 games...Averaged 6.9 points and 4.1 rebounds/g...Over half of his field goal attempts came from 3-point (36-109, .330)...Started the first eight games before coming off the bench for the last 23...Scored a season-high 17 in a start vs. Howard on Dec. 2...Added 16 points (4-of-6 from 3-point) and 7 rebounds off the bench in the win at Fordham...Added three 3-pointers against vs. St. Bonaventure, at Davidson and vs. Saint Louis in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Championship...Grabbed a career-high 9 rebounds and blocked a career-best 3 shots at Robert Morris...Handed out a career-high 5 assists vs. Pitt

AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14 Season at Duquesne): Played in 29 of a possible 30 games with a season-high 20 minutes at Rhode Island...Came off the bench to score a career-high 19 at Rhody on Feb. 15...Was 10-of-45 from 3-point before drilling 5-of-6 from beyond the arc at URI...Hit three 3's in a span of 2:03 of the first half to break open what became an 81-69 regular season-ending win at George Mason; ended up with 16 points (4-of-6 from 3 point) at Mason...Went 8-of-39 from the arc (.205) in his first 20 games and 14-of-27 (.519) from long distance in his last nine ... scored 57 of his 105 points in the last nine games of the season...Grabbed a season-high 7 rebounds to go with his 7 points in the first meeting with George Mason made a highlight reel block of 7-foot St. Bonaventure center Youssou Ndoye's dunk attempt in an 83-81 DU win over the Bonnies on Jan. 29...Scored 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting vs. Richmond at the A-10 Championship...Posted two of Duquesne's top bench point games of the season (the 19 at Rhode Island and 16 at George Mason)

BEFORE MARYLAND: Attended Benedictine College in Richmond, Va. with Robert Johnson from Indiana...Captured a state championship (Virginia) over Bishop O'Connell and Melo Trimble in 2013...As an undergraduate at Duquesne, volunteered at the Sojourner House in Pittsburgh - a rehabilitation facility for women addicted to chemical abuse...One of the primary reasons he transferred to Maryland was because he enjoyed meeting and visiting with Mark Turgeon during his recruiting visit

PERSONAL: Son of Charles Sr. (who goes by the moniker B.G. (Big Gill)) and Wanda Gill...Mother, Wanda,  played basketball at Virginia Union...Was given the nickname “L.G.,” short for “Little Gill,” by his aunt, Edna Hobbs, shortly after he was born...His older sister, Tionna, is a VCU grad ... criminal justice major with a minor in communication studies...Is an avid reader and enjoys sports autobiographies...Enjoys fishing with his dad...Favorite basketball players include Dwyane Wade, Paul George and Kawhi Leonard...Was a member of the Duquesne men's basketball team that was stuck for 30 hours on the road last year during the blizzard effecting the East Coast of the United States after they defeated George Mason...While stuck on the bus because of the inclement weather, Gill and his former teammates were next to a bus with third grade children and were approached by the kids' youth coach to see if they would join them to talk about their journey in becoming college athletes
