Before Maryland: Played one season at Ohio Wesleyan before transferring to Maryland ... played 12 games with one assists and 13 groundballs ... three-year letterwinner for coach AJ Auld at Dublin Jerome High School ... helped the Celtics to an 18-2 record as a senior and a berth in the state championship game ... named MVP at the state championship ... totaled 47 goals and 35 assists during his prep career ... team captain and MVP as a senior in 2006 ... named to the Central Ohio All-Star team ... all-state honoree ... also lettered in football at cornerback.
