Email:jmyers3@umd.edu Jessica Myers began working in the ASCDU in January '06. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of ASCDU where she is responsible for providing academic and career development support to Men's Golf, Women's Basketball, and Men's and Women's Track and Field/Cross Country. Additionally, she is the facilitator for the career development programs that serve student-athletes in ASCDU. She has developed and implemented the Terrapin Career Network, an online database that connects student-athlete, employers, and alumni to help student-athletes reach their career goals. She also oversees a comprehensive career development program that provides various workshops to assist student-athletes in acquiring skills and knowledge that will assist student-athletes in obtaining successful employment. Prior to working at the University of Maryland, Jessica served as a graduate assistant in academic advising at Virginia Commonwealth University. She also assisted student-athletes at the University of Richmond in academic and career counseling. She received her master's degree in counseling with an emphasis on working with student-athletes in higher education in 2006 from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2004, she received her bachelor's degree in Human Development from Virginia Polytechnic Institute of Virginia (Virginia Tech), where she was a four-year letter winner in soccer.
