Dominick Acierno was hired in September 2022 as a Production Assistant for the broadcast and production department. He was promoted to Assistant Director of Video Production in August 2023 and currently serves as the Associate Director and the lead producer for the men's basketball team. Overall, he enters his fifth school year with the department in 2026-27.
Prior to joining Maryland Athletics, Acierno served as the Director of Photography for
Acierno is a graduate of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism. While a student, he worked with The Left Bench's student organization (now Terrapin Sports Central) and played soccer for Maryland's club team.
