As a Freshman: Indoor- Threw team's second-best distance in the shot put at the ACC Championships (44-0.75)...took third in the shot put at the Maryland Invitational...finished fifth in the shot put at the Terrapin and Delaware invitationals...threw to a sixth-place finish in the weight throw at the Thomson Invitational...Outdoor- Set team's second-best mark and personal season-best distance in the discus at the James Madison Invitational, taking third place...finished fourth in the discus at the Patriot Open...took sixth in the hammer throw at the Maryland Invitational...threw season-best shot put mark at the ACC Championships...finished fourth in the shot put at the Maryland Invitational.
Before Maryland: Lettered three years in indoor and outdoor track ... came in first place in the discus at the league championships in 2000 ... team was the outdoor private school and league champions in 2001 ... named an all-city, all-county and league all-star in 2001 and 2002 ... set school record in the shot put at 36 feet in 2001 ... set discus school record in the discus at 114 feet in 2002 ... was the team's captain in 2002 ... also lettered four years in volleyball...was the team captain in 2001.
