Biography

As a Redshirt Freshman in 2010: Played in nine games as a backup attacker...tallied her first collegiate goal against Virginia Tech (4/17)...also tacked on a ground ball versus the Hokies...saw action against nationally-ranked opponents Penn State, New Hampshire, Stanford and Dartmouth....also helped Maryland win its NCAA First Round match against Marist.

As a Freshman in 2009: Redshirt season due to injury.

Prep: Played both lacrosse and soccer at John Carroll...teams won conference championships in soccer as a freshman and a sophomore and in lacrosse as a junior and a senior...also played lacrosse for the Skywalkers.

Personal: Grace deSales Gaeng was born May 28, 1990...daughter of Mary Pat and Chris Gaeng...one of seven children...has four brothers, Keegan, Harrison, Liam and Hayden and two sisters, McCall and Emory...chose Maryland due to its outstanding lacrosse program as well as its academic standards...undecided on major.
