Before Maryland: Played for Westwood High School…named a first-team all-region selection…honored as the District 13-6A Defender of the Year…named a second-team all-district selection…was her team’s defensive MVP on two occasions…coached by Malcolm Framjee…also ran cross country and was a team-time most improved runner….played for the Lonestar Sports Club under Sophia Mundy.
Personal: Daughter of Gerald and Lisa Col…has two siblings; Griffin and Trever…would have Jennifer Lawrence play her in a movie about her life…lists her sports hero as Kawhi Leonard...member of her National Honor Society and a three time academic all-district selection…member of the American Sign Language Honor Society…worked at the Austin Animal Shelter…cousins with author Yvonne Woon, who penned the novel Dead Beautiful.
