Zoe Huang officially joined the Maryland volleyball coaching staff as an assistant coach in October of 2026, returning to College Park as an alumna of the program.
Huang returns to Maryland following a collegiate playing career as a setter for the Terps, where she earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2022, 2023 and 2024. She was also named the recipient of the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award in 2023. As a senior in 2024, Huang recorded a career-high 36 assists against UCLA.
During her time as a student-athlete, Huang gained coaching experience through Maryland volleyball camps and club coaching with Metro Volleyball Club. Her experience working with young athletes and familiarity with the Maryland program provide a strong foundation for her role in mentoring and developing future Terps.
Huang earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Maryland in 2025 before completing her master's degree in management from the Robert H. Smith School of Business in 2026.
