Biography

As a Redshirt Junior (2018-19): Won by fall in the first minute of his opening match at the Princeton Open (11/4)...wrestled in dual against Navy (12/2) before missing the rest of the season due to injury. 

As a Redshirt Sophomore (2017-18): Finished with the second-most wins on team with 28...led team with 11 pins...finished fourth in the 165-pound bracket at the Princeton Open...went 5-1 at the Princeton Open, which included a 50-second fall in his first match of the season (11/4)...finished third in the 165-pound bracket at the ESU Open...posted a 5-1 mark at the ESU Open, which included a fall over Michael Manley of Drexel (11/12)...placed fifth in the 165-pound bracket at the CSU Open...pinned Kolin Leyrer of Eastern Michigan at the CSU Open (12/16)...beat Logan Ritchie of Michigan State by decision at the CSU Open (12/16)...topped Austin Hiles of Michigan State via an 8-6 decision at the CSU Open (12/16)...pinned Kent State's Isaac Bast at the CSU Open (12/16)...pinned Tristan Goering of Hofstra at the 1:24 mark during the F&M Open...shut out Reed Custer of Kutztown, 16-0, during the F&M Open (1/6)...finished fourth at the Shorty Hitchcock Open...pinned Turner Gray of American to begin the Shorty Hitchcock Open (1/13)...beat Hofstra's Tristan Goering by major decision at the Shorty Hitchcock Open (1/13)...pinned Hampton Boyd in 47 seconds at the Shorty Hitchcock Open (1/13)...won four matches by way of fall and finished fourth at the Messiah Open (2/3). 

As a Redshirt Freshman (2016-2017): Won eight matches at 174/184 pounds…wrestled for the Terps at 184 at Big Ten Championships (3/4)…started the year with two wins at the Southeast Open, majoring Ediboro’s Cullen Wolford and pinning Shorter’s Chance Mariotti (11/6)…won first career dual over Columbia’s Jacob Young at Grapple at the Garden (11/27)…defeated Goerge Mason’s Daniel Mika in sudden victory (12/9)…won opening match of Midlands Championships, majoring Oklahoma’s Hayden Hansen (12/29)…picked up wins in three matches to place second  at the Messiah Open, beating F&M’s Reid Robilotto, Drexel’s Owen Brooks, and Millersville’s Liam Frank (2/4). 

As a Freshman (2015-16): Joined the team in the spring semester...wrestled at 174 pounds while serving a redshirt year...went 1-2 at the National Collegiate Open, pinning Central Michigan's Hunter Rollins (3/5). 

Before Maryland: Was a 2x state quallifier and a state placer at Father Judge High School...2x NHSCA All-American...notched sixth place finish at Super 32...4x City Champion...finished career with a record of 149-30. 

Personal: Son of Anthony and Nichele White...has a borther Anthony and sister Chrissy...majoring in letters and sciences.
