As a Freshman (2017-18): Went 5-4 while serving a redshirt year...beat Charles Sell of Lehigh with a 4-2 decision at the Princeton Open (11/4)...topped Kyle Inlander of Bucknell with an 18-0 technical fall at the Princeton Open (11/4)...placed eighth in the Wolfpack Open...closed his season with three-consecutive victories during the Wolfpack Open (11/19).
Before Maryland: Two-time All-American…took sixth at Senior Nationals…finished seventh at junior nationals….two-time state placer (2nd & 4th)…three-time state qualifier at The Wheatley School…fifth at Eastern States Classic.
Personal: Son of Andrew and Sandra Mosca…has three siblings, Lindsay, Max and Tyler...lists sports hero as Derek Jeter...biggest thrill is having his hand raised after a big win...non-sports hero is his dad...plans to go to medical school…chose Maryland because, “it was academically challenging and the athletics are great”… …majoring in kinesiology.
