As a Redshirt Freshman (2016-2017): Won ten matches while wrestling primarily at 174 pounds…starter in 14 duals… picked up four wins at the Southeast Open (11/6)… posted four wins at the Binghamton Open (11/13)…notched first career dual win against Columbia’s Austin Coniker (11/27).
As a Freshman (2015-16): Went 6-4 in open tournaments while serving a redshirt season…wrestled at 174 pounds...picked up two wins at Bearcat Open, defeating Colin Gironda (Franklin & Marshall) and Tony Risalti (Army) by decision (11/8)…posted two wins at Franklin & Marshall Open, including a fall over Calvin Lawson (VMI) (12/30)…went 2-2 at Shorty Hitchcock Open (1/16).
Before Maryland: A 2015 state champion…a four-time state place winner…a two-time National Prep All-American.
Personal: Majoring in letters and sciences.
