
Maryland Swimming Hosts Terrapin Cup Invitational

The Terp women cruised to victory last year with 1,341 points over runner-up
Last Time for the Terps
· The women defeated Duke (134-109) and
· The Terp men fell to Duke (126-115) bringing them to 2-4, 0-4 ACC record.
· Freshman Yelena Skalinskaya (
· Other individual winners for the Terps included junior Sasha Malanina (Volgograd, Russia) in the 1000-free (10:10.85), sophomore Maya Finkler (Rishon-le-zion, Israel) in the 200-free (1:52.74), and junior Erica Suguiyama (Ijamsville, Md.) in the 200-fly (2:06.44). Senior Krisztina Kovacs (
· The Terps also swept the relays, with the 400-medley relay team of Levavi, Kovacs, Sumrall and Skalinskaya winning in 3:51.52, and the 400-free relay team of Finkler, Laputka, Sumrall and Suguiyama winning in 3:32.10.
· On the men's side, three Terps picked up two wins: junior Danny Gray (
· Ott won the 200-IM (1:53.08) and the 200-back (1:52.94), Geisen won the 200-free (1:43.18) and the 200-fly (1:55.43), and Gray won the 50-free (20.97) and the 100-free (46.57).

· The women dominated the three-day Terrapin Cup Invitational, taking first place in 15 of 20 events.
· Then-senior Marina Mulyayeva (
· The 200-medley relay team of then-senior Megan Knepper (
· The 400-medley relay team of Knepper, Mulyayeva, deToll and then-senior Chrissy Miller (
· Miller recorded `B' cuts in the 200- and 500-free, placing second in both events.
· Then-senior Elizabeth Lavell (
· Knepper won the 100-back with a `B' cut time. She also swam a `B' cut in the 200-back, placing second. Weir recorded a `B' cut in the 100-free, tying with Mulyayeva for second place.
· Then-freshman Nicole Rose (
· The Terp women also recorded `B' cut times in the 200-free relay, the 200-free relay and the 800-free relay, sweeping the events.
· On the men's side, then-freshman Martin Ott (

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION
· Thursday and Friday Prelims: parking available in a cash lot in the Stadium Parking Garage.
· Friday Finals: Due to a men's basketball game Friday at 8 p.m. vs. Fairleigh Dickinson, a cash lot is available in lot 6. Free parking will be available in lot 3 and lot 1. Basketball Game Map
· Saturday Prelims and Finals: Due to a football game Saturday at noon vs. Boston College, limited cash lots will be available in lots 4, 6 and 11. Football Game Map
· Admission to the meet is free.
