Vasquez went 10-for-17 from the floor and 7-for-7 at the foul line. He also led Maryland with eight rebounds and four assists. The junior guard is 48 points short of 1,000 for his career.
It was the 399th career victory at Maryland for coach Gary Williams, compared to 215 losses in 20 seasons at his alma mater.
