DURHAM, N.C. -Gerald Henderson scored 17 points to help No. 2 Duke defeat Maryland 85-44 on Saturday, a victory that could propel the Blue Devils to the No. 1 ranking next week.
Jon Scheyer scored 12 points for Duke (18-1, 5-0 Atlantic Coast Conference), which connected on 12 of 25 3-pointers and turned the ball over just nine times.
Kyle Singler added 11 points and seven rebounds for the Blue Devils who had a 56-38 edge on the glass.
Landon Milbourne had 19 points and five rebounds for the Terrapins (13-6, 2-3), who only lost their first two conference games by a combined five points.
