Why I chose Maryland: "Maryland was the first choice for me. With the great field hockey program and academic levels, along with the diversity on campus, it is something I definitely want to be a part of."
Meharg on Frazer: "Megan Frazer is one of the most exciting and powerful attackers I have seen in her age group," Meharg said. "As a young member of the Irish National team she has a variety of game and training experiences that will positively influence the Terps this fall. Megan hails from Northern Ireland where Terp alumna #8 Lynsey McVicker (class of 1997) also is from. Lynsey was an All-American and three-time All-ACC for Maryland. Megan, like Lynsey, will be known for her speed and passion for competition."
