Schneider Leads Red Over Black, 9-0

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - Gary Schneider led his team both offensively and defensively as the Red Team won 9-0 over the Black Team in game three of the 2010 Red vs. Black Super Regional, giving the Red Team a sweep on the weekend.
Schneider was 2-for-4 on the day with a game-high three RBI. Defensively, Schneider started the game on the mound for the Red Team and earned the win, allowing no runs on three hits in four innings of work.
The Red Team got started early, scoring off of a Tomo Delp double in the first and a single from Jordan Hagel in the second.
The bullpen would take over from there, allowing no runs on five hits in the final five innings.
Mike Montville and Korey Wacker each scored twice as part of a seven-run burst in the last two innings that put the game away.
Tim Kiene led the Black Team's offense, going 3-for-3 on the day in the losing effort.
David Carroll took the loss for the Black Team, allowing two runs, only one earned, in 3.2 innings.
