Maryland's Jordan Williams has been selected to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Basketball first team, while Terrell Stoglin is an All-Freshman selection.
The All-ACC teams were announced Monday following a vote of 75 members of the Atlantic Coast Sports Media Association (ACSMA).
Williams received the second-most points (210) of any player, behind Duke's Nolan Smith, who was the lone unanimous pick. A sophomore, Williams is the only underclassman on the first-team; Smith, Malcolm Delaney of Virginia Tech and Kyle Singler of Duke are seniors, while Reggie Jackson of Boston College is a junior.
Williams led the ACC and ranked third nationally with 11.6 rebounds per game and posted a single-season school record 23 double-doubles. He ranks second in the conference in field-goal percentage (54.1) and sixth in scoring (16.9 points per game).
Stoglin had an impressive debut season in College Park, finishing strong down the stretch. The Tuscon, Ariz., native averaged 19.1 points per game over the final eight contests and his season average of 11.6 ppg is second on the team behind Williams.
Stoglin claimed ACC Rookie of the Week Honors on Feb. 21 after back-to-back 25-point games and earned his second straight honor the following week after scoring 17 against Florida State and 28 at North Carolina. He scored 20 or more points in four of the last six games and also leads the team in free-throw percentage (83.5).
North Carolina's Harrison Barnes and Kendall Marshall, Wake Forest's Travis McKie and N.C. State's C.J. Leslie round out the All-Freshman team.
Maryland returns to action at 7 p.m. Thursday against NC State in the opening round of the ACC Tournament.
