CLEMSON, S.C. - Terrell Stoglin scored a game-high 27 points and helped Maryland hold off a late rally by Clemson in a 64-62 victory Tuesday night.

The Terrapins were seemingly in control, leading 53-39 with 7:55 to go, but the Tigers went on a 19-6 run to cut the lead to a single point on a pair of free throws by Devin Booker with 1:14 remaining.

After a Maryland timeout, Sean Mosley fed Alex Len in the post for a layup to make it 61-58 and Stoglin followed with two foul shots to put Maryland in front 63-59.

Clemson's Milton Jennings hit a 3-pointer to draw the Tigers within one once again, but after a free throw by Mosley, Andre Young's halfcourt heave at the buzzer bounced off the rim to preserve the Terrapins' first road win of the season.

Stoglin had one of his more efficient games of the year, knocking down 9 of 11 shots, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range. It was the 17th 20-point game of the season for the sophomore, who also added a career-high four steals and knocked down 5 of 6 at the free-throw line.

Mosley had 16 for the Terps (14-9, 4-5 ACC), who snapped an eight-game road skid with the win. Mosley, who came into the game with 999 career points, became the 50th Terrapin to reach 1,000 points.

The Terps shot 48.9 percent in the game, their second-best performance in ACC play. After taking a 26-22 lead into the locker room, Maryland came out hot in the second half, making seven of its first 10 shots. Three straight 3-pointers by Mosley, Pe'Shon Howard and Mosley again made it 46-32 with 12:58 left.

The teams traded buckets the next four minutes until Clemson started its run to make it close. Young led the Tigers with 15 points and had four 3-pointers.
