
Terps Host Terrapin Duals

COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The No. 25 Maryland wrestling team begins its 2013-2014 season with the Terrapin Duals this Sunday at the Comcast Pavilion.
The Terrapins welcome Johns Hopkins, Kutztown and Alderson-Broaddus to town with action starting at 11 a.m. The Terps will face the Blue Jays in their opening contast before taking on Kutztown at 12:30 p.m. Maryland concludes its day against Alderson-Broaddus at 2 p.m.

Parking
Because of the men's basketball exhibition against Catholic, parking will be available in Lot 1 and the Regents Drive Parking Garage.

Century Mark
Two of the Terps' captains are close to eclipsing 100 victories in their college careers. Jimmy Sheptock is three wins from the mark, and will also try to defend his ACC title at 184 pounds this season.
Christian Boley is just four wins away from 100 victories in his career. The Terp starter at 197 pounds is ranked No. 10 nationally to start the season and has won two straight ACC titles.
All-Star Status
Jimmy Sheptock has been selected to compete at the 2013 NWCA All-Star Classic on Saturday Nov. 2 at the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University.
Originally slated to face No. 1 Ed Ruth of Penn State, Sheptock will instead face Boise State standout Jake Swartz in the prestigious event. It's Sheptock's first appearance in the event.
Head Coach Kerry McCoy
Beginning his sixth season at Maryland, head coach Kerry McCoy has compiled a record of 60-17-2, which is the highest winning percentage in program history (.772). McCoy is a three-time ACC Coach of the Year honoree and his accomplishments are numerous:
