As a Redshirt Junior (2015-16): Went 7-14 in final season…finished 2-1 at Bearcat Open in season debut (11/8)…picked up dual victory over Nick Elmer (Drexel) by decision, 5-4 (12/5)…Went 2-2 at Midlands Championships (12/29)…secured 4-3 decision over Eastern Michigan’s Derek Hillman, also beat Indiana’s Norman Conley 3-2 at Midlands (12/29)…posted sudden victory win over Daniel Mika (George Mason) on February 14…secured Big Ten Tournament victory over Michigan State’s Shane Shadaia (3/5).
As a Redshirt Sophomore (2014-15): Notched 15 victories competing in open competition at 149, 157 and 165 pounds…won three matches at the Wolfpack Open (11/16)…nabbed a pair of wins at the TCNJ Open (11/22)…nabbed five wins at the Nittany Lion Open, including a win by tech fall (12/7)…won five times at the Messiah Open (2/7).
As a Redshirt Freshman (2013-14): Claimed four victories in open and dual competition ... won three straight matches to start the season.
As a Freshman (2012-13): Served a redshirt season at 141/149 and finished with a record of 26-18, tied for the fourth-highest win total on the team...tallied four victories by major decision and two by fall...placed third at the Messiah Open with a 4-1 record.
Before Maryland: Winningest wrestler in Peters Township High School history with 124 victories...2012 Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL) champion and 2011 medalist...Ohio Tournament of Champions finalist...Powerade Christmas Wrestling Tournament medalist.
