On Wilson: Senior who enters his second season as an everyday starter ... an athletic first baseman who has shown consistent improvement every year since he joined the program ... one of team's most dangerous offensive threats ... is expected to hit in the middle of the lineup.

As a Redshirt Junior (2005): Started 49 games for the Terps ... finished fifth on the team in hitting with a career-high .301 average ... batted .319 with runners in scoring position ... hit a game-winning solo home run in the third inning against Western Kentucky (Feb. 13) ... went 4-for-5 with 3 RBI in the series opener at UNC Wilmington (Feb. 18) ... closed the series with a 2-for-3, 3-RBI day against the Sea Hawks ... was a combined 6-for-12 with a double, walk and five runs in the Virginia Tech series (Mar. 4-6) ... had a 3-for-5 effort with a double, run and RBI in the series opener at NC State (Mar. 11) ... went 3-for-7 with two RBI a double and a run scored in the first two games of the Virginia series (Mar. 18-19) ... went 2-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI in the second game of a doubleheader against Duquesne (Mar. 22) ... was 1-for-3 with a solo home run, a season-high three runs and two walks against Temple (Mar. 30) ... scored three runs once again in the series opener at Georgia Tech (Apr. 1) ... finished 2-for-3 with a double, run scored and a hit-by-pitch in the series finale against North Carolina (Apr. 10) ... had multi-hit games in all three contests against Duke (Apr. 15-17) ... went 3-for-4 with a double, walk and three RBI in the second game (Apr. 16) ... tied career-highs with four hits, three runs and three RBI in the team's 17-2 win over Coppin State (Apr. 19) ... was 2-for-5 with an RBI in the series opener against Wake Forest (Apr. 22) ... had a 2-for-4 performance in the series opener at Miami (Apr. 29) ... went 1-for-1 with a walk and hit-by-pitch before leaving the second game early with an ankle injury (Apr. 30) ... went 3-for-6 with four runs scored and an RBI in a doubleheader split against Towson (May 4).

As a Junior (2004): Missed a majority of the season and took a medical redshirt after undergoing arm surgery ... hit the first home run of his career, while scoring three runs and driving in another two at UMBC (Mar. 10).

As a Sophomore (2003): Appeared in eight games as a pinch-hitter ... recorded his first hit of the season against New York Tech on his 20th birthday (Apr. 5) ... went 1-for-3 against Clemson (April 20).

As a Freshman (2002): Batted .300 in limited action in his rookie season ... saw action in 10 games, all off the bench ... recorded five runs, three RBIs and a .400 slugging percentage over 10 at-bats.

At St. John's Prospect Hall: Lettered two seasons in baseball ... first-team Frederick News Post and first-team Herald-Mail ... captain and team MVP as a senior ... played in the Crown High School All-Star game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards and in the MSABC Classic ... batted .472 his senior campaign with four homers and 15 doubles.

Personal: Son of Patrice and Patrick Wilson ... a civil engineering major ... was recruited by West Virginia and UNC Asheville.
