Wrestling Headed to University Freestyle Nationals

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland wrestling team will have a large pool of entries in the USA Wrestling University Freestyle Nationals this weekend in Akron, Ohio. Under the banner of "Terrapin Wrestling Club”, Maryland's wrestlers will be in action Saturday, June 4 and Sunday, June 5.
Winning the tournament secures wrestlers spots on the University World teams. The event will feature hundreds of wrestlers from throughout the country, including several NCAA Champions and All-Americans. The Terps have already competed in several events this offseason, including a fourth place finish for rising sophomore Youssif Hemida at UWW World Trials.
