COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Maryland begins its home schedule this weekend against Army at Bob "Turtle" Smith Stadium. All three games will be streamed live on BTN Plus and fans can also listen live on the Maryland Baseball Network.

LEADING IT OFF
• Maryland first-year head coach Rob Vaughn picked up his first career head coaching victory in Maryland's season opening 4-0 win over Tennessee. Vaughn begins his first season as Maryland's skipper after serving as an assistant under John Szefc for the last five seasons.
• Senior Taylor Bloom opened up 2018 with one of the best starts of his career, striking out nine in sevens scoreless innings against Tennessee. Bloom earned Big Ten Pitcher of the Week for his efforts.
• Maryland senior outfielder Zach Jancarski hit a pair of solo home runs in the Terps' loss to William & Mary on Wednesday. It was the first multi home run game of Jancarski's career and he leads Maryland with a .353 average early on.
• Junior shortstop AJ Lee has gotten on base in bunches early in the season. He has drawn a team leading six walks, and he now paces the Terps on on-base percentage at .611. Lee has taken over at shortstop for the departed Kevin Smith.
• Senior Kevin Biondic appeared for the first time as a pitcher in game one against Tennesee and pitched Maryland out of a big spot in the eighth inning. Biondic has tossed two scoreless innings this season and struck out three.
