As a Senior (2019): Started 15 games and notched a 10-3 record…his 10 wins is the third-most in a single season in Maryland history and he is one of just two pitchers in Maryland history with double digit wins in a season (Mike Shawaryn)…ended the regular season at the Big Ten leader in wins (9) and innings pitched (97.0)…finished with a 3.45 ERA in 104 and 1/3 innings…struck out 78 to 32 walks and hitters batted .232 against him (15th in Big Ten)…went over 100 pitches in 12-of-15 starts…earned the first win of his season, tossing eight shutout innings with five strikeouts…struck out six over seven innings and allowed one run in a win at Louisiana (3/1)…struck out a career high 10 in seven shutout innings at Stetson (3/8)…matched that career high 10 strikeouts with no walks in eight innings against Creighton (3/22)…gave up just two hits over eight shutout innings against Indiana (3/29)…notched wins at Northwestern (4/12) and against Ohio State (4/20)…struck out nine over seven innings at Penn State (4/26)…struck out eight over seven innings at Minnesota (5/10)…went eight innings and earned a win in his final home start against Iowa (5/16)…went seven and two thirds of an inning to notch a win at the Big Ten Tournament against third-seeded Illinois (5/22).

As a Junior (2018): Emerged as Maryland's top starting pitcher in 13 starts and 15 overall appearances...notched a 3.44 ERA with 62 strikeouts in 89 innings...went 5-2 and allowed a .225 batting average against. 

As a Sophomore (2017): Appeared 12 times with four starts...tossed 21.2 innings pitched...went 0-2 with a 12.05 ERA and 24 strikeouts.

As a Freshman (2016): Summer 2016...Starred for the Baltimore Redbirds of the Cal Ripken League...named the Cal Ripken League Pitcher of the Year...led the league in wins (6) and strikeouts (44) while notched a 1.40 ERA in 38.1 IP...named a third-team Perfect Game/Rawlings Summer All-American...selected by Collegiate Summer Baseball as a third-team All-American...named a top prospect in the Cal Ripken League by D1Baseball.com, Perfect Game and Baseball America...2016 Season...Made 15 appearances with five starts…finished with a 3.50 ERA in 36.0 IP…struck out 28 batters and held opponents to a .201 average…earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors once…made his first career appearance against Alabama (2/21)…tossed an inning of relief with two strikeouts at Delaware (3/1)…notched an inning of work vs. Southeastern Louisiana (3/5)…appeared against George Washington (3/9)…tossed 2/3 of an inning against Liberty (3/22)…went four and 2/3 innings with four strikeouts in his first career start at VCU (3/30)…earned Big Ten Freshman of the Week honors after tossing seven innings of two-hit ball with four strikeouts against James Madison (4/6)…made his first career weekend start against Purdue and earned the win after giving up two runs and striking out five over six innings of work (4/24)…tossed a scoreless inning of relief against Penn State (4/30)…recorded two innings of scoreless relief against Illinois (5/7)…threw six innings and struck out six at West Virginia (5/10)…tossed 2/3 of an inning of relief at Rutgers (5/15)…notched two innings of relief work and gave up a run at Michigan State (5/20)…started the Big Ten semifinal vs. Iowa and lasted three and 2/3 of an inning, giving up three runs and striking out one (5/28).

Before Maryland: Played for Parkside High School…selected in the 40th round of the 2015 MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians…struck out 67 in 40 IP his senior season, including a no hitter, en route to being named Bayside South Pitcher of the Year…earned All-State honors…threw a no hitter during his junior campaign…played travel ball for EvoShield Canes and won the WWBA 17u National Championship and the 18U World Championship…team was ranked No. 1 in the country.

Personal: Son of Wayne and Cathy Parsons…has one sibling, Sierra…lists Tom Brady as his sports hero...was a member of the National Honors Society in high school.
