COLLEGE PARK, Md. -  The No. 21 Maryland men's basketball hits the road for its fourth game away from home in its last five outings as it faces No. 24 Wisconsin Friday, Feb. 1, at 9:00 pm in Madison.

STORYLINES

•  Friday's game against Wisconsin marks the beginning of a stretch of five consecutive games against programs in the top-30 of the NET rankings. The Terps are set to play at Wisconsin (12th NET), at Nebraska (28), Purdue (11), at Michigan (4) and at Iowa (27).

• The Terps defeated Wisconsin earlier this season, 64-60, in College Park as Anthony Cowan Jr. led the way with 22 points. Maryland led by 18 points at the halftime break and held off a furious Badger rally. Cowan hit a pivotal 3-pointer with 44 seconds remaining which put the Terps ahead, 62-60.

• Maryland has won two of its last three meetings against Wisconsin, and holds a 4-3 advantage in the series since joining the Big Ten in 2014-15. This marks Maryland's third trip to the Kohl Center since joining the Big Ten Conference, with its lone win coming in the 2015-16 season.

• The Terps bounced back from a two-game slide with a commanding 70-52 victory in which it never trailed against Northwestern Tuesday evening. Maryland's stifling defense held the Wildcats to just 31-percent shooting. It was the worst shooting percentage for a conference opponent since the Terps held Nebraska to 30.5-percent shooting on March 8, 2015.

• Sophomore Bruno Fernando notched his 13th double-double of the season, and fourth consecutive, with a team-high 22 points and 10 rebounds in the Terps' victory against Northwestern Tuesday. Fernando is one of 10 players in program history to record at least 13 double-doubles in a season (Joe Smith and Tom McMillen did it multiple times).

•  Bruno Fernando was named one of 15 players to the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Midseason List Jan. 22. The dominating big man currently leads the Big Ten Conference (4th nationally) in double-doubles (13) and ranks second in rebounds/g (10.3) and blocks/g (2.0). He also ranks sitxth nationally (1st B1G) in FG pct. (.665).

•  Maryland has made it count at the free throw line this season, leading the Big Ten with in free throw percentage (.756), while ranking third in free throw attempts (438).

•  The Terrapins are looking for their third ranked win of the season, which would match the most in a season since 2014-15. Maryland previously defeated #24 Nebraska and #22 Indiana earlier this year in consecutive home games.

•  The Terps remain one of the best rebounding teams in the nation, ranking third in the country in rebound margin (+10.3).

•  The Terrapins boast one of the youngest lineups in the country in terms of experience, ranking 349th out of 353 teams according to KenPom.com.
