Peter Knade finished third overall to lead the Maryland men's golf team to finish seventh out of 16 teams at The Intercollegiate at Innisbrook Tuesday in Innisbrook, Fla.

Knade, an Easton, Md. native, led the Terps in all four events this fall. Knade finished with a score of 207 (-6), with individual rounds of 66, 67, and 74 respectively. His 66 in the first round Monday tied his career low. Knade racked up 13 birdies over the 54-hole event.

"Great fall campaign for Peter," head coach
Jason Rodenhaver said. "He earned three top 10 finishes and was 23 under total in four events.

"Team-wise, we had an opportunity for a solid end to the fall and we didn't capitalize. We'll regroup over the winter and get after it in our traditional spring season."

The Terps were impressive out of the gate in the first round. They climbed as high as third overall as a team after scoring a 285 in the first round. They earned an overall score of 288 in the second and 297 in the third round Tuesday. In the end, the Terps finished in 7
th place with a score of 870, which was +18. Â They topped No. 16 UCF by six strokes.

Austin Barbin finished with a score of 218 (72-74-72), which was two strokes over. He tied for 29
th.

Will Celiberti and senior
Christian Park both finished in the top 50. Celiberti shot a 222 (73-73-75) while Park shot a 223 (74-74-75). Senior
Chris Lane ended +17, with individual scores of 77, 75, and 78. Â

The Intercollegiate at Innisbrook was the last tournament of the fall as the Maryland Terrapins will take break until the spring.

As their fall slate concludes, the Terps finished in the upper half of each of the four tournaments they participated in.
