Finished eighth in the Maryland Open (67,74,71) for a total of three under par...Ended summer with a scoring average of 70.4 out of 22 tournament rounds...
Fall 2019: Competed in all four events for Maryland… averaged a 72.17 through the fall… tied for 32nd in the VCU Invitational with his score of 217 (74, 74, 69), which was one over par… tied for the lead on the team and tied for 31st in the Wolfpack Intercollegiate with his score of 219 (75, 72, 72), which was +3… finished in a tie for second on the team and tied for 33rd at the Quail Valley Collegiate Invitational with a score of 212 (72, 71, 69), which was -4… finished second on the team and tied for 29th at the Intercollegiate at Innisbrook with his score of 218 (72, 74, 72), which was +5.

Personal: Parents are Andrew and Allison Barbin…father is the owner, general manager, director of golf, and PGA professional at the Chesapeake Bay Golf Club…mother is also an owner and is head of marketing and website design…father played golf at Lynchburg College…has three brothers...Andrew is a PGA Golf Professional, Zach plays at Liberty and Evan is 15…lists Jack Nicklaus as his sports hero…came to Maryland for Coach Rodenhaver, to play in the Big Ten and a top 100 Division I team that was close to home, as well as a great academic school with FCA…intends to be a business major.
