Terps to Face Elite Competition at Black Knight Invite

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The University of Maryland wrestling team will head to West Point, N.Y. to compete in the Black Knight Invite, hosted by Army. Hofstra, Central Michigan, Indiana, Michigan, Bloomsburg, and defending NCAA National Champion Penn State will join the Terps in Christl Arena on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m.

THE OPPOSITION
Maryland will see three teams from the Big Ten at the Black Knight Open in Indiana, Michigan, and Penn State – all teams scheduled to have a conference dual with the Terps later in the season. No. 1 Penn State is coming off a 45-0 shutout win in its season-opening dual meet against Navy, No. 19 Michigan is coming off a 17-19 loss to No. 17 North Carolina, and Army is 3-1 on the season. Central Michigan, Indiana, Bloomsburg and Hofstra have yet to compete in a dual meet, their only competition coming at open events early in the season.
