Tuscaloosa, Ala. - The Terps finished day two of the Roberta Alison Classic victorious in singles play on Saturday.

Freshman Ayana Akli wrapped up the day for the Terps by pushing forward after her two victories on Friday to win her singles bracket against Anna Vrbenska of Ole Miss in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. Maryland started out the morning with a win in doubles play over Wisconsin.

Freshman Ayana Akli and junior Eva Alexandrova clinched a 6-2 victory over Melissa Pick and Anna Makarova. The pair then faced Meredith Roberts and Sara Lizariturry of Mississippi State, putting up a well fought battle but fell 6-3.
