COLLEGE PARK, Md. – Indiana had a big day at the plate for the second time is as many days and defeated the Maryland baseball team, 19-4, Sunday afternoon.
The Hoosiers scored 10 runs in the first three innings to put the game away. Senior AJ Lee's solo home run in the first gave Maryland a run, and a Taylor Wright double in the third scored another.
Freshman Josh Maguire picked up his first career hit in the ninth, a solo home run.
Maryland returns to action Tuesday at William & Mary. Action is set to begin at 6 p.m. and fans can listen to the action on the Maryland Baseball Network
