Terps Set for Puerto Rico Classic

COLLEGE PARK, Md. – The Maryland men's golf team is set to compete in its second match of the 2020 spring season as the Terps travel to Rio Grande, Puerto Rico for the Puerto Rico Classic. The event will be played on the Rio Mar Beach and Spa Resort's River Course.
The 54-hole event begins Sunday, Feb. 16 with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. ET and will play 18 holes every day, concluding on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Live stats will be available here.
The 15-team field will include, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Purdue, Alabama, North Carolina State, Ohio State, Marquette, east Carolina, Iowas and the College of Charleston.
The Terps are coming off a third place finish at Big Ten Match Play this past weekend. This weekend's lineup will include Peter Knade, Austin Barbin, Christian Park, Chris Lane and Will Celiberti. Maryland is looking to continue its strong play from last weekend after Knade, Lane and freshman Barbin all won two of their three matches.
