ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Maryland women's tennis team was defeated 5-2 by Michigan on Sunday.
"Michigan is a tough team top to bottom. We competed well today and made the adjustments from yesterday we asked them as a team to make. Doubles result wasn't better but our tennis at No. 2 and No. 3 was significantly improved. We picked up two strong wins at No.1 and No. 2. Ayana and Eva competed extremely well and didn't take a point off mentally or physically. Back to work this week and get ready for OSU and PSU," head coach Katie Dougherty said.
