The Terps are emerging from a stretch in which 9 of its first 11 conference games were against ranked opponents, including a recent span of six straight.Â

- Maryland is quickly piecing together a tournament-worthy resume, with its four victories against ranked opponents tying for the most in the country. The Terrapins have played more Quad 1 games than any team nationwide (11) and Gonzaga, Baylor, Illinois, Ohio State and Missouri are the only teams nationally with more Quad 1 victories. Maryland has only one loss outside of Quad 1.

 Aaron Wiggins has caught fire over the last eight games, averaging 15.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists while shooting 38-percent from beyond the arc. The Greensboro, N.C., native has scored 18 points in back-to-back games and has posted at least 17 points in five of his last eight games.

- Maryland is 8-0 when it wins the rebounding battle this season. Dating back to last year, it has won 17 consecutive games in which it has won the rebounding battle. The last loss came at Wisconsin on Jan. 15, 2020.

Maryland features an array of scoring options this season with three different players averaging more than 13 points in conference play: Donta Scott (13.6), Aaron Wiggins (13.3) and Eric Ayala (13.1). On the season, four different players scoring at least 20 points in a game: Wiggins (2x), Ayala (2x), Scott and Hart. Senior Darryl Morsell fell one point shy of the benchmark when he scored a career-best 19 points in Maryland's win at then-No. 12 Illinois.Â
